Ahh MUMPS, never met it on the PDP11 but did on the VAX, the financial system Quasar (ACT) was written in it. Supported that at 2 companies I worked at tho while it was fast it wasn&amp;#039;t so good with abrupt system outages, being the application was never coded to handle transaction integrity, neither was the language back then. You had to code to use the roll-back and checkpointing, it wasn&amp;#039;t handled at the DB level like &amp;quot;proper&amp;quot; databases like Rdb were.&lt;br /&gt;
