VistA Standard Base
From VistApedia
The VistA Standard Base is a concept voted on and agreed to by the participants of the latest VistA Community Meeting in Tempe AZ in January 2009. The idea was to move toward a standard core VistA upon which the many users could rely for CCHIT certification and updating/patching/enhancements. WorldVistA.org was to be the owner/maintainer of this core, but the development was to be done by the users and vendors. This discussion was an effort by the community to agree on some basics of how to lay out a VistA installation in a Linux filespace.
