Templates can be easily imported and exported using Template Editor-->Tools-->Import Template and Template Editor-->Tools-->Export Template in CPRS. Importing and exporting is done through text files with the .txml ending. Custom fields are defined in the file and automatically created on import. Very nice and easy to do particularly using the Bryan Hartsel's Injury Figure Template. I was able to create a Pain Assessment note using his base template. However, before I knew about import/export I did it the 'hard way' with cutting and pasting resulting in a mangled figure. Importing this complex figure gave a coherent, useful template. -- IV
